CLINICAL CASE CONFERENCES are 3 hours in duration. Each conference allows up to five people to present a case and discuss diagnostic, clinical formulation, and/or treatment issues. This format allows clinicians to present difficult case material and/or new diagnostic or treatment approaches.

All Clinical Case Conferences must submit a complete proposal each year in order to be considered for the scientific program of the Annual Meeting. Approximately 8 Clinical Case Conference spaces are available.

Questions regarding Clinical Case Conferences can be directed to the Program Committee's Clinical Case Conference Coordinator, Marianne Wamboldt, M.D., at wamboldt.marianne@tchden.org.

The following information is required:

  • The title of the submission
  • The chair’s name and email address
  • Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee review status, if applicable
  • Educational learning objectives
  • Review Abstract for the entire Clinical Case Conference
  • Names, affiliations, and email addresses for all co-presenters
  • Disclosure of conflicts of affiliation from each presenter (AACAP will contact each presenter individually in late February to obtain this information.)

Clinical Case Conferences do not require a Proceedings Abstract.
