AACAP Congressional Fellowship Program 2011-2012: Question and Answer Session
The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is pleased to announce the AACAP 2011-2012 Congressional Fellowship Program. The program is designed to educate policymakers and Congressional staff about child and adolescent psychiatry and to foster awareness of children’s mental health issues. This experience allows the Fellow to develop a keen understanding of how public policy affects patient care, education, and health insurance issues.

Join AACAP’s Department of Government Affairs for a Q & A about the Fellowship Program on Thursday, October 28, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is an opportunity to hear directly from the previous and current Fellows about their experiences working on Capitol Hill.

The application deadline is December 15, 2010. Notification of the award will be given in early February 2011. The Fellowship begins September 2011 and concludes July 2012.
