Master Clinician John N. Constantino, M.D.

In this session, Dr. Constantino leads a discussion of comprehensive assessment and care of children with severe abnormalities of social development and the discussion includes consideration of inherited, environmental, and social factors that contribute to those syndromes. Dr. Constantino is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics in the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He directs studies of childhood social development funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, the Simons Foundation, and Autism Speaks, and has authored over 45 peer-reviewed research manuscripts in the scientific literature.
