Master Clinician Janet R. Wozniak, M.D.

Dr. Wozniak is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School, and is the Director of the Pediatric Bipolar Disorder Clinical and Research Program in the Pediatric Psychopharmacology Department at MGH. Dr. Wozniak’s research focuses on the characteristics, longitudinal course, and treatment of pediatric bipolar disorder. She is a member of the Professional Advisory Council of the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation and STEP UP for Kids. Her 1995 paper on childhood mania is one of the 10 most cited papers ever to be published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Wozniak is the author of dozens of scientific articles on the topic and is regarded as a national expert on pediatric bipolar disorder. In addition to her research, Dr. Wozniak has a large clinical practice and has had hundreds of children under her care for psychiatric treatment.
