The Round Table on Diversity and Culture focuses on the Diversity and Culture Committee’s draft curriculum on cultural competence. Child psychiatry residency directors (or their designees) and faculty educators in diversity and culture will have an opportunity to analyze and provide feedback on the curriculum as well as the process of implementing and adapting it to various training sites and environments. Feedback will be used to shape the final version and dissemination formats and plans. All residency training directors and interested educators will receive the latest draft prior to the Round Table. This will also provide a stimulating discussion about how to educate emerging child and adolescent psychiatrists about best serving the populations that will shortly comprise the majority of the children in their practices.
