Diagnosis of Infants and Young Children: "Hands-On": Diagnostic Classification: 0-3RTM

This Workshop offers introductory training on the revised, updated, age-specific Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood-Revised (DC: 0-3R™), the ZERO TO THREE diagnostic classification system. Child and adolescent psychiatry clinicians, and those with training and supervisory responsibilities, have the opportunity for an intensive review of the developmentally and etiologically informed organizing principles of DC: 0-3R™, and “hands-on training utilizing focused diagnostic discussion of DVD footage of children ages 11 months to 3 years. Discussion of videotaped cases centers on understanding and diagnosing in a way that informs strategic treatment of infants and young children within the contexts of their families, other caregivers, community, and cultural environment.
