Early Career Psychiatrists Connecting: The 2013 Regional Networking Forum

This Forum provides early career psychiatrists (ECP) with a structured opportunity for building relationships with other ECPs, as well as regional and national leaders. Ideas are exchanged on how to build collaboration between ECPs, Regional Organizations of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ROCAP), and AACAP leaders. Successful ECP-ROCAP programs are highlighted as stimulus for discussion. ECPs learn about the AACAP and ROCAP resources available to them. The importance of networking and mentorship relationships is emphasized, as well as ways to maximize these relationships. ECPs are encouraged to discuss their needs and ideas on how to address them.
