Media Theatre 4 (open)
Carola Eisenberg: An Exceptional Woman for All Seasons

This Media Theatre presents the seminal contributions Carola Eisenberg made to child and adolescent psychiatry’s mandate of advocacy for children. She first taught international medical education and ethics in medical school curriculum and pioneered global health and human rights. Participants learn about the many prominent names in children’s mental health, public and world policy, and human rights that had direct and indirect influence on Carola Eisenberg. And, they gain appreciation for the degree to which child and adolescent psychiatrist exposure to, and involvement in, issues of the larger community can enrich ones practice and influence.
