The National Institute of Mental Health National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is actively conducting research on the use of complementary and integrative medicine. This workshop gives an overview of NCCIH and presents the types of research that NCCIH and the Office of Dietary Supplements have prioritized as important in regard to complementary and integrative medicine research in children and adolescents. The step-by-step mechanics of grant writing are covered and mentors who can help in the grant writing process are available.
