One critical issue in clinical practice is staying current on the use of pharmacotherapy in the psychiatric treatment of children and adolescents. This Workshop offers a technologically innovative way for participants to document their own strengths in this practice area, meet the requirement for self-assessment that is part of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology’s Maintenance of Certification, and identify opportunities to improve their knowledge base that can serve as a framework for a professional development plan. During the session, participants receive immediate feedback regarding their knowledge of psychopharmacology through an audience response system that utilizes multiple-choice questions. Feedback is augmented by discussion of each question by clinicians with recognized expertise in clinical psychopharmacology.
