The Member Services Forum, sponsored by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), familiarizes new investigators with the grant writing and grant review process within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) systems, with a special emphasis on research mechanisms for early investigators. Mid-career and senior investigators benefit from updates on current research priorities and policy updates at NIH. Participants have the opportunity to interact with program staff and senior researchers in small groups for individualized feedback on grant writing and obtaining grant funding.
