Workshop 40 (Canceled)
The Early Childhood Service Intensity Instrument (ECSII): Workshop for Users
The ECSII is a clinician-rated instrument to assess service intensity need for children ages 0-5 years who have emotional, behavioral, and developmental problems. As systems of care place increasing emphasis on prevention and addressing the mental health needs of young children, service intensity assessment is critical to services planning efforts for these children. The ECSII is a reliable and valid scale that can be used by clinicians in diverse systems to assign level of service intensity and develop a comprehensive service plan. This Workshop acquaints participants with how the ECSII was constructed to provide a standardized approach to service intensity assessment and prepares participants to administer and score the ECSII.
