AACAP and the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP) have developed a number of free, online resources. Participants look at the virtues and shortcomings of new and existing online resources available to train and educate medical students, residents, adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrists, pediatricians, and mental health workers; learn how to use AACAP’s psychoeducational and clinical tools; explore the newly expanded IACAPAP textbook; learn about IACAPAP’s free online courses (MOOC); and get information about participating in IACAPAP’s iCAMH volunteer teaching program. These free and easily accessible resources are especially useful in low and middle-income countries where the shortage of child and adolescent psychiatrists is greatest.
