Behavioral parent training and school consultation are well-established, evidence-based practices in the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and behavior disorders in children and adolescents; however, many families are unable to commit to the estimated 12-20 weekly sessions required for behavioral parent training. This Workshop introduces an innovative, weeklong, intensive treatment model for behavior problems. Participants increase their understanding of the evidence base for intensive behavioral parent training interventions and broaden their knowledge of how to effectively apply these interventions across a range of settings and diagnostic presentations.
