This Workshop for educators, clinicians, residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, and medical students helps improve participants’ communication and teaching skills through a series of interactive sessions based around the principles of improvisational theater. Participants improve their ability to think on their feet, learn to adapt to stressful situations, and improve their ability to connect in the moment with students, colleagues, and patients in an effort to improve education and overall patient care. Special improvisational skills and games are used to show the importance of a quick and agile mind, and how to tap into and enhance your ability to improvise.
